Happy Birthday & Friendly Greeting

New gallery, MKG127 to open at 127 Ossington Avenue on Saturday afternoon, June 30th between 1 and 5 PM.

MKG127’s introductory exhibition will feature works by gallery artists as well as special friends of the gallery.

On August 4th between 1 and 5 PM, a second opening will take place at which time most of the exhibiting artists will present different works. This second exhibition continues until September 1st.

New York Based Canadian artist, Micah Lexier and Calgary based experimental poet, Christian Bök will present a collaborative window project for MKG127's storefront. Other works in the exhibition are by Toronto artists, Anitra Hamilton, Sara Graham, An Te Liu, Joy Walker, Dave Dyment & Roula Partheniou, Toronto/Vancouver collective, Instant Coffee, Meaford/Berlin artist, Laura Kikauka, Vancouver artists, Germaine Koh & Jayce Salloum and Denver artist, Lawrence Argent. MKG127 is directed by Michael Klein.

The gallery is located at 127 Ossington Avenue between Queen and Dundas Streets at the NE corner of Ossington Avenue and Argyle Street.

Summer hours are Wednesday to Saturday from 12 to 6 PM or by appointment.
